It may be hard to believe but our friend, Zobrist may just be a Christ Figure but he really does fit some of the requirements. First lets go over the requirements:
i. Wounds in hands or feetii. in agony
iii. self-sacrificing
iv. good with children
v. good with loaves, fishes, water, wine
vi. thirty-three years of age when last seen
vii. employed as a carpenter
viii. known to use humble modes of transportation, feet or donkeys preferred
ix. believed to have walked on water
x. known to have spent time alone in the wilderness
xi. believed to have had a confrontation with the devil, possibly tempted
xii. last seen in the company of thieves
xiii. creator of many aphorisms and parables
xiv. buried, but arose on the third day
xv. had disciples, twelve at first, although not all equally devoted
xvi. very forgiving
xvii. came to redeem an unworthy world
Now Zobrist doesn't fit all of them but he does hit key ones. Zobrist suffers from agony, after beginning shunned from the science community for his radical beliefs he goes into isolation so he can work on his plague. So he's in in agony for his beliefs (ii) and he isolated himself (x) Next was that he was self- sacrificing; Zobrist throws himself off a tower killing himself so not to be captured. He also forgiving; Even after being pursued he still believes in the importance of saving the human race no matter what, this also goes under xvii- came to redeem an unworthy world, "...You Have told me repeatedly tonight that Bertrand was not an evil man... that he simply longed so deeply to save our species that he was able to rationalize taking such drastic measures." He also had many followers or disciples, “Zobrist may be a pariah in the medical community, but he probably has a legion of devout fans of his ideology." Sienna was one of his follower however she was not equally devoted, she believed that overpopulation needed to be solved but could never understand a right way to do so.
