Our kind Doctor Sienna is truly marked for greatness and the symbols are there to prove it. As we all know in "How to Read Lit like a Professor" marks of greatness are shown to readers though marks of imperfections. In my earlier posts I have talked about Sienna's unhealthy stress which has caused her to go bald. Now some of us don't really compare baldness to scars or limps but its still there. For a women losing their hair is significant for hair resembles beauty in a women. Also for Sienna losing her hair means something more it removes a "cover" from her head it reveals her brain both figuratively and literally. When he hair falls out it begins to unmask the cover from her mental state revealing it to the world around her. Also at the end of the book the reader discover Sienna purpose which is to help Sinskey understand this new virus and help address the world, "I do believe you, Sienna. I believe every word you've told me."
